  12.     I'm stumped about a problem I'm having with my Amiga 2500. 
  13. It refuses to acknowledge that there are library files in my
  14. libs: directory.
  15.  
  16.     I just installed AmigaDos3.1 and I'm softkicking KickStart
  17. 40.68.   At first everything was fine, but then later in the day
  18. certain programs that called library files started flaking out. 
  19. For instance; MultiView would not load and certain Prefs programs
  20. like WBPattern and WBSound said "Requires DATATYPES.LIBRARY V39"
  21. when I tried to activate them.  Amigaguide files say "You Need
  22. AmigaGuide.library V34+".

  24.     Problem is, I HAVE these files in my libs directory.  In
  25. fact, my libraries are higher versions than those required.  I've
  26. even tried putting the older libraries back but nothing solves
  27. the problem.

  29.     Any help, any suggestions would be GREATLY, GREATLY
  30. appreciated.  I'm not completely inept at using the Amiga
  31. Operating system...but this problem has me completely
  32. baffled....I cannot understand what is going on here!
